Delegate Foster moves to amend the bill on page 22, section 14, line five, following the word “registrant” by inserting a new subsection (g) to read as follows:

“(g) The commissioner shall issue the following licenses:

(1) Grower in training to a person with interest in and an aptitude for growing or processing hemp or medical cannabis, but who alone is not capable of performing growing work, and who has fewer than 2,000 hours of growing experience: Provided, That the commissioner credit relevant verified military service, training, or education toward the licensing requirements;

(2) Journeyperson grower to any person with at least 2,000 hours of work experience with growing or processing hemp or medical cannabis: Provided, That the commissioner credit relevant verified military service, training, or education toward the licensing requirements; and

(3) Master grower to any person with at least 8,000 hours of work experience growing or processing hemp or medical cannabis: Provided, That the commissioner credit relevant verified military service, training, or education toward the licensing requirements.”
